Pretty Bow Jars

1. All you need is a pair of scissors, a clean glass jar, tissue paper, and some ribbon.
2.Cut a circle of white paper to place in the bottom of the jar.
3.Place the paper in the jar
4.Measure and cut some ribbon to tie around the jar.
5.Using the lid, trace and cut around the lid. Leaving about 2cm space around the lid.
6.Place the tissue paper over the lid and once fished putting whatever you want in the jar, tie an elastic band around the lid and tissue paper.

I really love the finished result and after they can be filled with sweets or gifts for a present!

New Craft Supplies // Ribbons...

Hello there!

I thought I would share with you all some recent purchase I have made for my craft supplies. So I got both of these reels of ribbon, one black and spotty the other a plain, pale pink, on eBay. I have been looking in quite a lot of places, but the nearest craft shops to me are very expensive for these type of ribbons. On Ebay, the black, spotty one was  £2.99 and that's for 25mtrs, which I think it good. And the pale pink was £1.91.What I liked most was the huge colour range and the very fast delivery!

P.s I'm always looking for cheaper craft supplies, so if any of you have any suggestion of craft shop online or other outlets to get any from, please let me know?!?

Decorative Paper Swirl Fan

I have seen a lot of these paper fan swirls being made and used as birthday party decorations. I decided to make some and use them to decorate my room. I think they look lovely and could be made to fit a party that has a colour scheme.

What you need:
If you want to hang your Paper Fan swirls, you will also need some rope or string.
(Also ribbon if you want to add some extra detail when you are finished!)

What to do:
1. Cut an A4 piece of paper in three pieces. (the paper would look better if it was coloured or patterned.)
2 & 3. Begin to fold the paper backwards and then forwards. (Like a paper fan.)

4  & 5. Fold all three pieces of papers.
6. Once the paper is folded, use small pieces of tape to stick together the now small fans you have made.

And hey presto!

You have a lovely Paper Fan Swirl, which can be used to decorate a room, home or party! Making smaller ones and hanging them along side bigger ones will be a great affect!

Decorative Fashion and Beauty Boards...

Hello there! I thought I would share these fashion and beauty boards which I create for decoration. If you have any old magazines laying around put them to good use and create something lovely to hang on your wall, or to hide clutter on shelves.

I love making these collages and the look fantastic after created. I used PVA glue to coat the collage to give it a shiny affect. I also used glitter paints to go over some of the pictures to give them a sparkly affect.
