Decorative Paper Swirl Fan

I have seen a lot of these paper fan swirls being made and used as birthday party decorations. I decided to make some and use them to decorate my room. I think they look lovely and could be made to fit a party that has a colour scheme.

What you need:
If you want to hang your Paper Fan swirls, you will also need some rope or string.
(Also ribbon if you want to add some extra detail when you are finished!)

What to do:
1. Cut an A4 piece of paper in three pieces. (the paper would look better if it was coloured or patterned.)
2 & 3. Begin to fold the paper backwards and then forwards. (Like a paper fan.)

4  & 5. Fold all three pieces of papers.
6. Once the paper is folded, use small pieces of tape to stick together the now small fans you have made.

And hey presto!

You have a lovely Paper Fan Swirl, which can be used to decorate a room, home or party! Making smaller ones and hanging them along side bigger ones will be a great affect!

Easy Decorating With Natural Rustic Twine...

After my purchase of 12 metres of Natural Rustic Twine arrived in the post, I thought that I would put it to good use! Having many issues of Company magazine lying around, I thought it would look much nice if I bundled them together and tied the twine in a nice little bow!

I love the finished look and I now proudly display them on my table! Not only is it a clever way to keep your magazines together.. but it look fabulous as well! Why not try it with old newspapers or even old letters to keep things organised and looking great!
